Maranatha Institute of Christian Education (M.I.C.E.)
M.I.C.E. was established in February of 2006. We saw a need for the children of the church to receive a Christian education following all the principles of true education; an education that would prepare these village children for heaven and for service to their fellow man. Our goal is for them to develop all of their faculties for the service and honor of God. Our MICE have a full day of school which includes agriculture…the ABC’s of education. We make the sacrifice to feed them nutritious balanced meals, knowing this might be the only one they might receive that day; and at the same time, they learn by practice how to cook nutritiously.
“In all our churches, and wherever there is a company of believers, church schools should be established, and in these schools there should be teachers with a true missionary spirit, for the children are to be trained to be missionaries. These schools, established in different localities, should be built upon the same principles as were the schools of the prophets.”
