Maranatha Newsletter February 2010

Greetings M.M.M. Friends,

This is indeed a special newsletter issue. One that we be-lieve has the message of what Maranatha Medical Ministries is all about. Although there are only a couple of articles featured in this issue, may God’s love, mercy and compas-sion for others ring out on every page. Know within your own heart, that God wants to use you to be His helping hands in bringing relief and comfort to someone in need.

“In every city, every town, every village, through which He passed, He laid His hands upon the afflicted ones and healed them. Wherever there were hearts ready to receive His message, He comforted them with the assurance of their heavenly Father’s love. All day He ministered to those who came to Him;”

Do you feel that your usefulness for Christ is limited, due to your lack of education or skills? Look at our young Missionary Trainees; Just a few months ago, they were, what some would call, “ignorant mountain kids”. Now, today, after learning in the school of Christ, they are able to go out and minister to the rich as well as to the poor.

Remember dear friends;

“In choosing men and women for His service, God does not ask whether they possess worldly wealth, learning, or eloquence. He asks, “Do they walk in such humility that I can teach them My way? Can I put My words into their lips? Will they represent Me? M.H. p. 37

Medical Update!

Dear MTI Friends,
M.M.M.'s last couple of newsletters have told of a young man, L. Rubberman, who needed emergency surgery to remove a large cancerous growth from the left side of his chest.

We had no idea when doctors would schedule the operation, but it just so happend they wanted to operate immediately. Two days ago, L. Rubberman underwent surgery to have the cancer removed. I am happy to announce that the operation was a success, and that he is recovering nicely. It was more extensive than I had expected, because the doctors had to also remove Rubberman's entire left lung. He is in recovery, and is so very thankful to God for a new lease on life, and to all who have been praying for him. He and the entire family are deeply thankful to our M.M.M. family for providing the funds needed to pay for his surgery and hospital stay. He will be returning home to La Zona in about a week. Do continue to keep Rubberman in your prayers.

Here are a couple of photos taken yesterday at the hospital. Thank you MMM/MTI family.

Maranatha Newsletter March/April 2008

Download PDF: Low qualityHigh quality

Dear M.M.M. family,

With so much being done and so much more needing to be done, we were unable to send out our newsletter last month. Oh, how we miss not sharing with you all the wondrous blessings of God. Although things have been quite busy for us, we have the assurance that our MMM family are ever praying for us. This is a March / April issue, therefore we pray that the Lord will give you a double blessing. They say that one picture is worth a thousand words. If that be true, this issue will speak volumes, because we not only want to tell you of the work God is doing, we want you to see for yourself what keeps Maranatha Medical Ministries so busy. So call the family and friends together, and prayerfully begin your mission experience. Don’t forget your water :) .
